An elderly man embarks on a poignant journey across the UK after the death of his wife. Using his free bus pass, he travels from John O'Groats to Land's End to fulfil his promise of scattering her ashes at their first home together. Along the way, he encounters various characters who document his journey, turning him into an unexpected social media sensation.
