Presented by Big Picture Festival - Stratford upon Avon
The film is a fictionalised portrait of the late "avant-garde and misunderstood" artist Audrey Amiss who was unable to finish her training at the Royal Academy of Arts due to being hospitalised for mental illness. We take a road trip with Audrey and her psychiatric nurse and see them form an unlikely friendship as they travel north, uncovering key moments and people from Audrey’s past.
